Data & Analytics Manager – F-Secure – Aug 2018 – till present
– As a Data & Analytics Manager, I add significant fellow-power to F-secure’s data-driven goal of reaching ever higher active users. I focus on a combination of creating and maintaining higher visibility data measures for F-secure’s existing business, identifying and interpreting data correlations that lead to improved customer journey metrics and advice, and developing models and researches in data analytics to advance the understanding and ability to predict churn and propensity to buy.
Researcher – University of Helsinki – Dec 2014 – Oct 2018
– Within the Immersive Automation project, my colleagues and I developed novel approaches in automatic news generation. First prototype, developed mostly with python, is available here. We first imported structured data, analysed it, then using rule-based and natural language generation approaches, we produced news articles. More details about the approaches can found here and here.
– During the Need for Speed project, I effectively supported development teams in medium and large companies to perform systematic continuous experimentation, a lean-development strategy, that lead to the release of the most valuable product feature. In addition, utilized data and text analysis methods to help a hybrid open source company identify potential new customers from forum data. More information about this work can be found here and here.
