A little bit about me and the  blog

aboutme

My journey into this world began in the ‘land of a thousand hills’, Rwanda, and has currently landed me in the ‘land of a thousand lakes’, Finland. In between that, I have lived, studied, worked and visited many countries, making me more of a citizen of the world than any one country.

In my professional ability (see my CV), I have been a researcher the longest. My research career has strengthened my analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis for gaining actionable insight and improved decision-making. This has led me to manage a few projects and consult with software companies on improving development processes and providing better business value. I am especially passionate about using my skills for solving development and social problems.

With that short intro, this blog, is about sharing things that are related to my career interests in research, analytics, IT, experiment-driven product and service development, and their application in various fields such as entrepreneurship, development, education, entertainment, among others.

In addition, the blog will also include posts on self development, as I believe, we never stop discovering ourselves, our interests, our passions, and strengthening our mental, emotional, and spiritual capabilities.

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act but a habit.” – Will Durant

“There is no passion to be  found playing small, in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” – Nelson Mandela

“There is nothing outside of yourself that can ever enable you to get better, stronger, richer, quicker, smarter. Everything is Within. Everything Exists. Seek nothing outside of Yourself” – Miyamoto Musashi
